RoundUp: The Windsor Chair

The Windsor Chair has been a quintessentially American furniture design since it first made an appearance at Independence Hall.  Or so we think.  The first Windsor chairs first came on to the scene sometime in the early 18th century after being used to furnish the gardens at Windsor.  By the 1750's, was a staple in every meeting house, tavern, and library.  Since then designers have attempted over and over to reinvent the classic using bright finishes, stylized forms, and modern motifs to bring it up to date while keeping it's history intact.

D'Scoop brings you twelve of our favorites, including a few classics for good measure.
