A Message of Thanks to all of our Supporters! #Thanksgiving

In my short 32 years of being on this Earth I don't think I've ever experienced a year quite like 2013.

Sure, there was the dot com bust (the first of the recessions through which I had to weather).  Then there was the collapse of the housing market which, in turn, affected commercial real estate (my bread and butter!).  In 2009 I completed 52 projects and financially it was the best year I'd ever had.

But 2013. What can I say that hasn't already been wrung out on a Facebook soap...er... post.  Or talked about ad nauseam in every major magazine and newspaper.  Or that one has experienced first hand.  Let's not talk about the downs...I mean it is almost the holidays you know!

Aside from the major down that was deciding to, after 11 years, shutter my interiors practice, the months leading up to 2014 have actually been rather exciting.  DCoopMedia was born.  #DesignLux was launched.  And I've embarked on the wonderful world of publishing with the launch of theTwentySIX in January 2014.

Looking back on the last couple of months, I realize that I have a lot to be thankful for.  I could talk about a lot of things but the truth is that the thing I'm most grateful for is that I have the best bunch of supporters - bar none.  Really.  Truly.  I could not have embarked on this crazy albeit awesome mission if I didn't have all of you rallying around me daily, pushing for my furthered success.

Every day you participate in my chats, read my blog posts, and comment on my Twitter rantings. You put up with my sarcasm, my occasional drunkenness, and even manage to help me find little tidbits of awesome in what can sometimes be a not so awesome place.

As cliche as it may sound, you do complete me!

Wishing all of you stateside a very happy Thanksgiving.
