Freestanding Bathroom Furniture Collection from Victoria + Albert Baths
For the first time ever, the illustrious bathroom fixtures brand Victoria + Albert Baths has set their sights on freestanding bathroom furniture, launching a series of high-design vanities, basins, and mirrors designed to expand on their expansive catalog of classically inspired bathtubs and basins. Exhibiting V+A's mastery at blending traditional details with a modern aesthetic, the collaborations with Italian design studio Meneghello Paolelli Associati and London designer Brigid Strevens have resulted in two integrated vanity units, two countertop vanity units, and a collection of coordinating basins, skirts, and mirrors. Meneghello Paolelli's Mandello 114 and Lario 100 integrated vanities combine beech timber frames and V+A's signature ENGLISHCAST material with cherry wood drawer dividers, integrated storage, and a uniquely shaped basin for a homage to classic Victorian styling. The Bosa 112 and Stiletto 110, designed with Brigid Strevens, embodies a vintage, cottage look with curved vanity surfaces, freestanding basins, and a smooth lacquer waterproof finish. All four units are the perfect compliment to both contemporary and classic luxury bathrooms.

The collection, made up of a Dining Chair, Lounge Chair, Stool, Low Drinks Table, and Side Table, is crafted from stainless steel and all-weather teak, adding a decidedly California modern look making it perfect for the Sierra Nevada mountain cabin, the Palm Springs retreat, or the Malibu beach house.
Marsden Rug Collection from Angela Adams
Portland Maine based designer Angela Adams has always been known for her fresh take on pattern. The Marsden Rug Collection furthers the sentiment, finding inspiration from an ocean wave while blending Art Deco and Pop-Art stylistic elements into a modern rug which is, at once, wonderfully energetic and yet decidedly zen - a perfectly graphic yin and yang. Made of 100% New Zealand wool, the Marsden rug is available in three sizes and two colors.

The Ven Storage Collection by Jens Risom & Chris Hardy for Design Within Reach
Once in a lifetime collaborations come around... well... once in a lifetime. Such is the case with The Ven Storage Collection, a special introduction by furnishings retailer Design Within Reach. Not just a collection of case goods designed with the aesthetics of the Mid Century in mind, Ven is the collective brainchild of Danish master Jens Risom and industrial designer Chris Hardy. For those who don't know, Risom is considered one of the fathers of the Mid-Century Modern movement. Emigrating from Denmark to the US in 1939, he first designed for furnishings giant Knoll before launching his own furniture company (at one point the third largest in America). His work became the basis for others to come. Partnered with Hardy, part of the new design elite reshaping what it means to be a designer in the United States, the Ven Storage Collection brings to life all that made MCM great while remaining up to date and useful in today's modern homes. Available from DWR, the collection consists of 17 furniture pieces, from small dresser to oversize wall unit, in two finishes - classic walnut with brass fittings and refreshing oak with stainless fittings. Prices begin at $1,985 for the Ven Open Cabinet.
